I got a friend that worked on Full Throttle, and basically what happened was they had no ending written and the publisher wanted to see it like a week before it had to go gold, but there was no ending, and Tim Schaffer told nobody this meeting was happening, instead he faked a computer crash and was like "Oh no, it's broken, guess you can't see the ending!"
